PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Dorothy May Kline, 78, of Perryville, died Monday, Sept. 17, 2018, at her home.
She was born April 1, 1940, in Yount, Missouri, daughter of George Harrison and Lizzie Ann Cash Winfield. She married Melvin Kline on April 26, 1958. He survives in Perryville.
Dorothy was an inspector at Prince Gardner and a homemaker. She was a member of Christ the Savior Catholic Church in Brewer, Missouri. She loved the St. Louis Cardinals, baking, cooking, canning and playing bingo. She was especially known for her apple and pumpkin pies and homemade pizza.
Survivors include three sons and three daughters, Rodney (Laura) Kline of Ocala, Florida, Karen Duvall of Perryville, Kevin Kline of St. Charles, Missouri, Jeffery (Deanna) Kline of Perryville, Charlotte (Tim) Schloss of Lee's Summit, Missouri, and Rhonda (Matthew) Beul of Jefferson City, Missouri; 11 grandchildren, James, Steve, Tim, Derek, Chris, Kenny, Tyler, Kyle, Amy, Olivia and Addison; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Wilbert Miller; a sister, Anna Belle Brewer; one grandchild; one great-grandchild; one child in infancy; and one sibling in infancy.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday and from 6:30 to 10 a.m. Friday at Young and Sons Funeral Home.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Rich Wehrmeyer, CM, officiating. Burial will be in Christ the Savior Catholic Cemetery in Brewer.
Memorials are preferred for family use.
