SIKESTON -- Dorothy J. Barnes, 67, of Sikeston, died Wednesday, April 19, 1995, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.
She was born July 14, 1927, in Nimmons, Ark., daughter of Clarence and Mary White. She and Elmer L. Barnes were married June 8, 1946, at Kennett.
Barnes was a member of the Sikeston congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Dennis Barnes of St. Louis, David Barnes of Sikeston; a daughter, Rebekah Marine of Rockport, Maine; a sister, Madge Smith of Land Between the Lakes in Kentucky, and six grandchildren.
Friends may call at Ponder Funeral Home from 5-7 p.m. Friday.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with Harold Altom officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Oak Ridge Cemetery at Kennett.
