GLENALLEN, Mo. -- Dorothy Jean Hogan, 70, of Glenallen died Thursday, July 21, 2005, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born April 20, 1935, in Camden, Ark., daughter of August Andrew and Ruby Katherine Orear Betsch. She and Claude Franklin Hogan were married March 15, 1952. He died Aug. 27, 1996.
Hogan was a member of New Salem Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, Claude Hogan of Chaffee, Mo.; a daughter, Claudette Cureton of Glenallen; a brother, Leonard Betsch of Annapolis, Mo.; three sisters, Mary Byers of Stonefort, Ill., Pauline Williams of Sedalia, Mo., Edith Parnell of state of Arizona; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, and three brothers.
Friends may call at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill from 5 to 8 p.m. today.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at New Salem church, with the Rev. Randy Poole officiating. Burial will be in Glenallen Cemetery.
