MORLEY, Mo. -- Dorothy D. Hagar, 93, of Morley died Thursday, Aug. 23, 2001, at Chaffee Nursing Center. She was born Aug. 23, 1908 in Supply, Ark., daughter of James Samuel and Lena Ella Brashear Duff. She and Robert C. Hagar were married July 5, 1929. He died June 19, 1992...

MORLEY, Mo. -- Dorothy D. Hagar, 93, of Morley died Thursday, Aug. 23, 2001, at Chaffee Nursing Center.

She was born Aug. 23, 1908 in Supply, Ark., daughter of James Samuel and Lena Ella Brashear Duff.

She and Robert C. Hagar were married July 5, 1929. He died June 19, 1992.

Hagar was a member of Victory Life Center in Roan, Mo.

Survivors include a son, Robert Hagar of Florissant, Mo.; three daughters, Jean Hamlett of Satellite Beach, Fla., Norma Sheppard of Naylor, Mo., Louise Dollins of Morley; one sister, Thelma Brewer of Corning, Ark.; 12 grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren.

Hagar was preceded in death by two sisters, five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Friends may call after 4 p.m. Tuesday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran.

Funeral will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Victory Life Center. The Rev. Brian Flanigan will officiate, with burial in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens near Morley.
