Dorothy F. Graham, 84, of Cape Girardeau died Monday, Sept. 19, 2016, at Saint Francis Medical Center.

She was born June 15, 1932, in Portageville, Missouri, to George Cecil and Vera Catherine Cole. She and Charles Graham were married Jan. 26, 1951, at Piggott, Arkansas.

Dorothy had been owner/operator of a ladies clothing store in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, for several years beginning in 1987. She also had served as head cook for the Neelyville (Missouri) School District, as well as working for Social Services.

Dorothy loved working in sales, and was a sales person for Sarah Coventry, and sold in the make-up, and jewelry lines.

She was of the Church of Christ faith.

Survivors include her husband, Charles Graham of Cape Girardeau; two daughters, Diane (Gary) Garner and Sherry Howard of Jackson; and a granddaughter, Brooke Grubb.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and four sisters.

The private funeral service was Friday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau, with the Rev. Donny Ford officiating. Burial was at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield.
