ANNA, Ill. -- Dorothy E. Veal, 72, of Anna, died Monday, Dec. 12, 1994, at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis. She was born Dec. 11, 1922, in Anna, daughter of Lee and Lillie Seets Adams. She and John H. Veal were married March 7, 1945, in Arkansas. He died May 31, 1965...

ANNA, Ill. -- Dorothy E. Veal, 72, of Anna, died Monday, Dec. 12, 1994, at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis.

She was born Dec. 11, 1922, in Anna, daughter of Lee and Lillie Seets Adams. She and John H. Veal were married March 7, 1945, in Arkansas. He died May 31, 1965.

Veal was a member of Anna Heights Baptist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Darlene Crews of Anna.

She was preceded in death by a brother and sister.

Friends may call at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna from 5-9 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Scott Harner officiating. Burial will be in Cobden Cemetery.
