DOROTHY E. SKAGGS

MARQUAND -- Dorothy Ethel Skaggs, 75, of Marquand, died Monday, April 3, 1995, at Doctors' Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff.

She was born June 5, 1919, at Cascade, daughter of Dorse James and Rilla Marie Alexander Stevens. She married Silas Skaggs, who preceded her in death.

Skaggs was a member of Buckhorn General Baptist Church.

Survivors include two brothers, Paul Stevens of Arnold, Douglas Stevens of Cape Girardeau, and a sister, Almeta Houston of Marble Hill.

She was preceded in death by two brothers.

Friends may call at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Buckhorn Church, with the Rev. Alan Casey officiating. Burial will be in McKelvey-Huffman Cemetery at Buckhorn.
