SIKESTON -- Dorothy Donner, 81, of Sikeston died Monday, June 8, 1998, at her home.
She was born Oct. 7, 1916, in Henderson, Tenn., daughter of Calvin and Ethel Jackson Hatcher. She and Joseph A. Donner were married Oct. 7, 1933, in Blytheville, Ark. He died May 18, 1989.
Donner was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church and Daughters of Isabella Chapter 768.
Survivors include a son, Don Donner of Puxico; three daughters, Betty Kennedy of Simi Valley, Calif., Juanita Leible of Owensboro, Ky., Darlene Yancy of Sikeston; two sisters, Rachel Woods of Memphis, Tenn., Lorene Moore of Holland; 14 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter and two sisters.
Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel from 5-8 p.m. today. A prayer service will be held at 7:30, followed by a devotional service by Daughters of Isabella.
Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Francis Church, with Msgr. William Stanton officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
