DOROTHY CULP

JACKSON -- Dorothy M. Culp, 88, of Jackson, died Tuesday, Jan. 30, 1996, at Jackson Manor.

She was born July 7, 1907, at Thayer, daughter of William A. and Willie Webber Kellett. She and Claude Culp were married Aug. 7, 1929, at Benton. He died Aug. 9, 1982.

The Culps owned a general merchandise store at Arbor many years. She was a lifelong member of Church of Christ in Jackson.

Survivors include a daughter, Gelena Stoffregen of Jackson; two sisters, Lora Thomas of Herculaneum, Colleen Kight of Memphis, Tenn.; a brother, Ferrell Kellett of Bertrand; six grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, two brothers and two sisters.

Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson from 4-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with Gerald Cowan and Jerry Culbertson officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery.
