DOROTHY CROSSIN

SEDGEWICKVILLE, Mo. -- Dorothy Tillie Crossin, 85, of Sedgewickville, formerly of Clarkton, Mo., died Friday, Sept. 8, 2000, at her home.

She was born May 6, 1915 at Gordonville, Mo., daughter of Albert William and Tillie Hoffman Brase.

She and Joseph Farris Crossin were married Sept. 26, 1936, in Clarkton. He died Dec. 22, 1977.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Gideon. She retired as a postal clerk at the Clarkton Post Office.

Survivors include a daughter, Joberta Walker of Sedgear deau; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.

Friends may call today after 6 p.m. at Bradshaw Funeral Chapel at Gideon, Mo.

Funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Lloyd Anderson and the Rev. Gene Lancaster officiating. Burial will be in Stanfield Cemetery at Clarkton.
