DOROTHY CONDER

JACKSON -- Funeral for Dorothy Melba Conder of Jackson will be held at 10 a.m. today at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home. Dr. Brian Anderson will officiate. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery.

Conder, 89, died Monday, July 5, 1999, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Feb. 11, 1910, at Advance, daughter of John Matthew and Etta VanDine Riddick. She and Adam Theodore Conder were married April 9, 1932, in Jonesboro, Ill. He died Jan. 2, 1985.

She was a member of First Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son, James Conder of Danville, Ill.; and two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a half brother, four sisters, and a half sister.
