SIKESTON, Mo. -- Dorothy N. Cauthorn, 81, of Sikeston died Sunday, Dec. 29, 2002, at Missouri Delta Medical Center. She was born Aug. 10, 1921, in Buffington, Mo., daughter of George W. and Bertha N. Gurley Cartwright. She and Robert E. Cauthorn were married July 1, 1939. He died Aug. 24, 1991...

SIKESTON, Mo. -- Dorothy N. Cauthorn, 81, of Sikeston died Sunday, Dec. 29, 2002, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

She was born Aug. 10, 1921, in Buffington, Mo., daughter of George W. and Bertha N. Gurley Cartwright. She and Robert E. Cauthorn were married July 1, 1939. He died Aug. 24, 1991.

Cauthorn had been a salesclerk at JCPenney Co.

Survivors include a daughter, Sandy Lutes of Sikeston; a sister, Ann Hileman of Morehouse, Mo.; four grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. today at Ponder Funeral Home. The Rev. Tom Geers will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
