CAIRO, Ill. -- Dorothy Blackburn, 77, of St. Louis died Saturday, Jan. 3, 2004, at St. Luke's Hospital in St. Louis.
She was born Aug. 4, 1926, in Cairo, daughter of Frank and Clara Edison Webb. She married Robert Blackburn, who preceded her in death.
Blackburn retired as an assistant store manager at Bright's of Paducah, Ky. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Fenton, Mo.
Survivors include a daughter, Diana Elliott of St. Louis; a son, Kim Blackburn of Lexington, Ky.; two sisters, Margaret Weberlein of Grosse Isle, Mich., Betty Brewer of Phoenix, Ariz.; and six grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister.
Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Green Lawn Memorial Gardens in Villa Ridge, Ill., with the Rev. Larry Davidson officiating.
Barkett Funeral Home in Cairo is in charge of arrangements.
