Dorothy Lou Juden Baker, 86, of Oxford, Kan., died Thursday, Jan. 4, 2007, at William Newton Memorial Hospital in Winfield, Kan.
The funeral will be at 5 p.m. Saturday at Rindt-Erdman Funeral Home in Arkansas City, Kan. Norman Reeves will officiate.
A celebration of life service will be held at Arkansas City Recreation Center immediately following the funeral.
Baker was born Nov. 2, 1920, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Elmer Henry Charles and Christine Alice Minnick Haman.
She graduated from Cape Girardeau High School and continued her education at Cape Business College.
On June 18, 1942, she married W.A. "Dub" Juden in Jackson. They lived in Cape Girardeau, moving to Arkansas City in 1959. He died in 1975. She later married Ben E. Baker in 1987 and the couple lived in Oklahoma City until his death. She moved back to Arkansas City in 1993 and later to Oxford.
She was a secretary at Mauer Nuer Meat Packing, a member of Rodeoettes and the First Presbyterian Church in Arkansas City.
Survivors include eight children, Andy Juden of Warsaw, Mo., Vicki Richardson of Reeds Spring, Mo., Bob Juden of Arkansas City, Terry Juden of St. Charles, Mo., Christie Andrews of Arkansas City, Randy Juden of Conifer, Colo., Tracy Adams of Udall, Kan., Troy Juden of Arkansas City; a brother, Bill Haman of Cape Girardeau; 14 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
