DOROTHY A. MCGUIRE

CAPE GIRARDEAU -- Dorothy A. McGuire, 58, of Cape Girardeau died Friday, Dec. 25, 1992, at Jackson Manor Nursing Home in Jackson.

She was born Nov. 7, 1934, at Hannibal, the daughter of Henry F. Wells Sr. and the late Dora Isabell Williams Wells. On June 9, 1951, she married George H. McGuire at Ferguson. He survives of rural Ellington.

She was a member of the Temple Baptist Church in Belgrade.

Other survivors include her father of Potosi; three daughters, Sandra Klase of Niles, Mich., Janet Boies of Crystal, Minn., and Cynthia Huey of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Henry F. Wells Jr. of Florissant; a sister, Mary Hughes of Bremerton, Wash.; and four grandchildren.

She also was preceded in death by a son, Gregory Allen McGuire.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. today at Gum and Son Chapel in Potosi. Wayne Gibson will officiate, and burial will be in the Sunset Hill Cemetery in Potosi.
