MARQUAND, Mo. -- Doris Laverne Warden, 85, of Marquand passed away Saturday, June 13, 2009, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

She was born April 3, 1924, at Sharon, Tenn., daughter of Lester L. and Inis E. Scott Warren.

Mrs. Warden was a homemaker and a member of the Mount Carmel Baptist Church near Patton, Mo.

A graveside service will be at noon Tuesday at the Oakwood Cemetery in Clinton, Ky., with family members officiating.

Liley Funeral Home in Patton is in charge of the arrangements.
