DORIS SNIDER

CHAFFEE -- Funeral service for Doris Louise Snider, Chaffee Route 1, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee. The Rev. Gerald Collier will officiate, with burial in Union Park Cemetery.

Friends may call at the chapel after 5 p.m. today.

Snider, 73, died Tuesday, Jan. 27, 1998, at her home.

She was born July 10, 1924, in St. Louis, daughter of Irl Cyril and Hazel Mildetta Ellis Wilkinson.

Snider retired as a secretary at Walter's Buildings in Chaffee. She was a member of First Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son, Stephen Snider of Chaffee; seven daughters, Judy Huber of Mesquite, Texas, Jo Hailey of Foristell, Sue Ourth of Chaffee, Mary Slinkard and Laura Moore of Cape Girardeau, Patty Palmer and Kimberly Meier of Jackson; two brothers, William Wilkinson of McLean, Va., Joe Wilkinson of Columbia; 19 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, a brother, and two sisters.
