GORDONVILLE -- Doris "D.D." Nothdurft, 80, of Columbia, died Wednesday, March 15, 1995, at McAllen Medical Center in McAllen, Texas. He was born Feb. 10, 1915, in Gordonville, son of Robert and Minnie Schreiner Nothdurft. He first married Marie E. Myers April 22, 1938, who died in 1979. He later married Barbara Dell Cain Sept. 30, 1979...

GORDONVILLE -- Doris "D.D." Nothdurft, 80, of Columbia, died Wednesday, March 15, 1995, at McAllen Medical Center in McAllen, Texas.

He was born Feb. 10, 1915, in Gordonville, son of Robert and Minnie Schreiner Nothdurft. He first married Marie E. Myers April 22, 1938, who died in 1979. He later married Barbara Dell Cain Sept. 30, 1979.

Nothdurft received a bachelor of arts degree in education from Southeast Missouri State University, master's in education from the University of Missouri-Columbia, and doctorate in education from the University of Wyoming-Laramie.

He was an industrial arts teacher in Missouri public schools many years. He also taught in the industrial education department at Northeast Missouri State University, retiring as professor emeritus in 1978. He was a member of Fairview United Methodist Church in Columbia.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Edwin Nothdurft of Affton, Gerald Nothdurft of Columbia; two daughters, Rosemary Killiam of Denton, Texas, and Joyce Stanley of Columbia; four stepchildren, Belinda, Chris, Leonard and Randy O'Toole, and six grandchildren.

Friends may call at Fairview Church in Columbia from 10:30-11:30 a.m. Saturday.

Funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. at the church, with Memorial Funeral Home at Columbia in charge of arrangements.

Another visitation will be held from 2-3 p.m. Sunday at Wilson Funeral Home in Fredericktown.

Funeral service will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Marcus Cemetery at Fredericktown.
