SIKESTON -- Doris K. Mydland, 79, of Sikeston, died Tuesday, July 30, 1996, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.
She was born Dec. 28, 1916, in Sikeston, daughter of Henry Marion and Frances Mae Roush Bolden. She and Melvin A. Mydland were married Sept. 27, 1934, in St. Louis.
Mydland was a member of First United Methodist Church and its Philathea Sunday School Class and United Methodist Women, and was a member of Chapter HB of PEO.
Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Janet Baker of Columbia, Mary Crotty of Memphis, Tenn.; a brother, Louis Bolden of Sikeston; a sister, Betty Chronister of Jonesboro, Ark.; four grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers.
Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at First United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Charles E. Buck officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
