ANNA, Ill. -- Doris B. Kovach, 81, of Anna died Wednesday, June 15, 2005, at Rehab and Care Center in Murphysboro, Ill. She was born Oct. 3, 1923, in Anna, daughter of Lester M. and Mabel Atchison Broadway. She and Charles K. Kovach were married July 14, 1946, in Jonesboro, Ill. He died June 24, 2004...

ANNA, Ill. -- Doris B. Kovach, 81, of Anna died Wednesday, June 15, 2005, at Rehab and Care Center in Murphysboro, Ill.

She was born Oct. 3, 1923, in Anna, daughter of Lester M. and Mabel Atchison Broadway. She and Charles K. Kovach were married July 14, 1946, in Jonesboro, Ill. He died June 24, 2004.

Kovach was a member of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Carbondale, Ill.

Survivors include two sons, Charles Kovach of Anna, John Kovach of Cobden, Ill.; a sister, Betty McDonald of Cobden; four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by a sister.

Funeral and burial will be private.

Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna is in charge of arrangements.
