DORIS EAGLE

Esther Dorothy "Doris" Eagle, 71, of Cape Girardeau died Sunday, Aug. 2, 1998, at St. Francis Medical Center.

She was born Sept. 20, 1926, at Egypt Mills, daughter of Henry C. and Mary Day Fornkohl. She and Lesley G. Eagle were married Oct. 24, 1945, in Cape Girardeau.

Eagle was a member of Scriptural Evangelical Lutheran Church and its Ladies Bible Study Class, American Legion Auxiliary, and VFW Auxiliary.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Barbara Eagle of Cape Girardeau; four brothers, Lester, Norman and Delbert Fornkohl, all of Cape Girardeau, Bobby Fornkohl of Springfield, Ill.; a sister, Eva Feuerhahn of Cape Girardeau; and two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.

Friends may call at Lorberg Memorial Funeral Chapel from 4-8 p.m. today, and Wednesday at Scriptural Church after 9 a.m.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with the Rev. Tragasz officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park.
