Doris Cobaugh, 71, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, Jan. 8, 2005, at the Missouri Veterans Home in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Jan. 26, 1933, at Lake Charles, La., daughter of Frank and Alberta Louise Miller Evans.
Cobaugh was a corporal in the Marines during the Korean War, serving as a postal worker. She was employed as a recreational aide for Pine Crest State School in Pineville, La. She moved to Missouri in 1993.
Survivors include three sons, George L. Cobaugh of San Antonio, Texas, Michael E. Cobaugh of Tioga, La., James F. Cobaugh of Pineville; three daughters, Marie Turner of Lowndes, Mo., Sandra L. Reddick, Alice L. James, both of Scott City; a brother, Jerry Evans of Lake Charles; a sister, Jeannette Bonner of San Diego, Calif.; 21 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
She was preceeded in death by a daughter and two brothers.
There will be no services. Burial of ashes will be at a future date in Pineville.
Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
