SIKESTON -- Doris Alene Caston, 72, of Sikeston, died Thursday, May 30, 1996, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

She was born Jan. 9, 1924, in Sikeston, daughter of Thomas and Ida Mae Thompson Heath. She married William K. Caston.

Caston moved to Sikeston 18 years ago from Clarksdale, Miss.

Survivors include three sons, Nick Nichols of Wood River, Ill., Kevin and Keith Caston of Sikeston; a brother, Thomas Heath; two sisters, Helen Groesbeck of Sikeston, Jackie Blancett of Tampa, Fla., and seven grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a sister.

Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Garden of Memories Cemetery, with the Rev. Mickael Quillman officiating.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Sikeston after 10 a.m. Saturday.
