PARMA, Mo. -- Doris Loraine Biggs, 71, of Parma died Monday, Nov. 6, 2000, at her home.
She was born Sept. 24, 1929, at Parma, daughter of John Robert and Ruth Golden Tharp. She first married Harland R. Norman, who preceded her in death. She and Neavle Biggs were married Feb. 6, 1976.
Biggs had lived at Bloomsdale, Mo., before returning to Parma in 1985.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Donald Norman of Parma, Michael Norman of Dexter, Mo.; five daughters, Patsy VanBuren of Bernie, Mo., Linda Speakman and Teresa Jones of St. Mary, Mo., Vickie Norman of Hawaii, Joyce Mills of Paragould, Ark.; two sisters, Shirley DeJournett of Dexter, Betty Lowrey of Parma; 23 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with Bobby Lowrey officiating. Burial will be in Hagy Cemetery at Dexter.
