SIKESTON, Mo. -- Dora Thatch, 93, of Sikeston died Thursday, May 3, 2001, at Clearview Nursing Center.
She was born July 23, 1907, in Collierville, Tenn., daughter of Jessie and Mattie Waldren Fowler.
Thatch had lived in Missouri since 1948. She was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church, its Mother Board and Missionary Society.
Survivors include two daughters, Florida Robinson and Shirley Lawrence of Sikeston; a son, Charlie Hankins of Sikeston; two stepdaughters, Earline Tripp and Ruthie Artis of Chicago; 15 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by four husbands, three brothers, two sisters and a great-grandson.
Friends may call at Cornerstone Church from 6-8 p.m. Monday.
Funeral will be at noon Tuesday at the church, with the Rev. L.J. Nabors officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
