Dora Poole

Dora Helen Poole, 80, of Cape Girardeau died Friday, Nov. 7, 2003, at Heartland Care and Rehabilitation in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Aug. 14, 1923, at Cape Girardeau, daughter of Willard and Pearle Pate Moore.

Poole was a lifelong resident of Cape Girardeau. She worked as a health-care aide for the elderly in their homes before retiring in 1994.

She is survived by a sister, Dorothy Russell of Killeen, Texas.

Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Fairmount Cemetery in Cape Girardeau. Ford and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
