MALDEN, Mo. -- Dora Mae Acup, 86, of Malden died Saturday, Feb. 2, 2002, at Three Rivers Health Care North Campus in Poplar Bluff, Mo. She was born Oct. 13, 1915, in Halliday, Ark., daughter of Charley Marion and Lizzy Pearl Steele Carrel. She and Charley Leroy Acup were married Dec. 25, 1933. He died April 5, 1987...

MALDEN, Mo. -- Dora Mae Acup, 86, of Malden died Saturday, Feb. 2, 2002, at Three Rivers Health Care North Campus in Poplar Bluff, Mo.

She was born Oct. 13, 1915, in Halliday, Ark., daughter of Charley Marion and Lizzy Pearl Steele Carrel. She and Charley Leroy Acup were married Dec. 25, 1933. He died April 5, 1987.

Acup was a member of the Assembly of God Church.

Survivors include a son, Freddie Acup of Malden; four daughters, Frances McCoin of Malden, Pearlie Williams of Dexter, Mo., Shirley Moore of Carrizo Springs, Texas, Rosemary Cowan of Cape Girardeau; 18 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, three brothers, and three sisters.

Friends may call at Bradshaw Funeral Home after 6 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Assembly of God Church, with the Rev. Dale Shoup officiating. Burial will be in Stanfield Cemetery at Clarkton, Mo.
