Funeral service for Donnie Wayne Grubb Jr. of Cape Girardeau will be held at 11 a.m. today at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill. The Revs. Kenny Cook and Ernest Brown will officiate, with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery at Thebes, Ill.

Grubb, 22, died Sunday, April 2, 1995, in a car accident on Highway 72 one mile west of Millersville.

He was born July 31, 1972, in Cape Girardeau, son of Donnie W. and Brenda Wehmeyer Grubb Sr.

Grubb was a carpenter with Moutell Construction Co. He attended Point Pleasant General Baptist Church.

Survivors include twin daughters, Brooke and Katoshia Grubb of the home; their mother, Sueann Slinkard of Cape Girardeau; his parents of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Shawn Grubb of Buckhorn; a sister, Ladonna Grubb of Cape Girardeau; paternal grandfather, Orlie Grubb of Cape Girardeau, and maternal grandparents, Winston and Blanche Wehmeyer of Thebes.
