Donna Sue May, 48, of Severna Park, Md., died Tuesday, Nov. 29, 1994, at her home, following a brief illness.
She was born Feb. 12, 1946, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Donald and Edna Zimmerman Welch. She and Lee J. May were married in 1968 in Cape Girardeau.
May attended Cape Girardeau Public Schools, received a bachelor of science degree in education from Southeast Missouri State University in 1967, and a master's degree in administration from Central Michigan University.
She had lived in Maryland 20 years, and was director of applied technology and apprenticeship at Catonsville Community College near Baltimore. She was a member of a Catholic church in Severna Park, and former member of Maple Avenue United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Sara May of the home; her mother, Edna Welch of Cape Girardeau, and a sister, Mary Spell of Cape Girardeau.
She was preceded in death by her father.
A memorial service will be held Saturday in Severna Park.
