Donna Sue Renschen, 48, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, March 24, 2009, at Southeast Missouri Hospital. She was born June 26, 1960, in Breese, Ill., daughter of Alvin Francis and Johanna Mary Kues Renschen. Renschen was a member of New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church and also attended Trinity Grace Chapel. She was a volunteer for Head Start, and a caregiver to her grandchildren...

Donna Sue Renschen, 48, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, March 24, 2009, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

She was born June 26, 1960, in Breese, Ill., daughter of Alvin Francis and Johanna Mary Kues Renschen.

Renschen was a member of New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church and also attended Trinity Grace Chapel. She was a volunteer for Head Start, and a caregiver to her grandchildren.

Survivors include a son, Tony Renschen of Cape Girardeau; two grandchildren, Martez Carter and Torianna Renschen of Cape Girardeau; a son-in-law, Martez Carter of Cape Girardeau; four brothers; and four sisters.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Trisha Lynn Renschen; and three sisters.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Funeral Home.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Johnny Thomas officiating. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery.
