Donna Hurst

GLENALLEN, Mo. — Donna Jean Hurst, 36, of Glenallen died Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2008, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Nov. 12, 1971, in Aurora, Ill., daughter of Donald Edwin and Louise Thompson Barker. She and Robin Michael Hurst were married June 5, 1996, in Aurora. He died June 29, 2004.

Hurst was a commercial insurance analyst for Farmers Insurance Group and Hanover Insurance Group.

Survivors include her mother of Glenallen; a son, Nicholas Hurst; two daughters, Danielle and Carly Hurst, all of Glenallen; a stepdaughter, Nicole Jackson of Mountain Home, Ark.; three brothers, David Barker of Earlville, Ill., Donnie Barker of Las Vegas, Clint Barker of West Siloam Springs, Okla.; a sister, Patti Deck of Glenallen; and a stepgranddaughter, Alexis Shaw.

Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to service time Saturday at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill, Mo.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Kenneth Shoemaker officiating. Burial will be in Barker Family Cemetery near Glenallen.
