Donna Sue Hodges, 80, of Scott City died Wednesday, March 31, 2021, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Sept. 16, 1940, in Sikeston, Missouri, to Bob and Stella Ruth Strain Dickerson.
She worked at First National Bank of Sikeston, Bank of Illmo, Joel Montgomery Investment and retired from the Community Counseling Center. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Scott City and she was the first ever Lady Elk in Sikeston.
She is survived by a daughter, Susan (Clayton) Palisch of Scott City; three grandchildren, Rachel (Josh) Penfield of Jackson, Andy (Jodi) Palisch and Alex (Ang) Palisch of Scott City; and four great-grandchildren, Ava Penfield and Dru, Russ and Easton Palisch.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Robert Larry Dickerson.
Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.
Memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the chapel.
