CAIRO, Ill. -- Donna R. Hartmann, 72, of Cairo died Monday, Nov. 3, 2003, at her home. She was born Sept. 25, 1931, in Cairo, daughter of Louis E. and Martha Ross Sackberger. She married James B. CAIRO, Ill. -- Donna R. Hartmann, 72, of Cairo died Monday, Nov. 3, 2003, at her home.

She was born Sept. 25, 1931, in Cairo, daughter of Louis E. and Martha Ross Sackberger. She married James B. Hartmann.

Hartmann was a former accountant at Southern Illinois University-Carbondale. She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church and its Altar Guild.

Survivors include her husband, and a daughter, Amy Hartmann of Destin, Fla.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.

Friends may call at Barkett Funeral Home in Cairo from 9 to 10:30 a.m. today.

Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. today at St. Patrick's Church, with the Rev. Jerome Fortenberry officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery at Villa Ridge, Ill.
