Donna May Ham, 64, 606 Silver Springs Road, died Sunday, April 13, 1997, at her home.
She was born Dec. 20, 1932, in Springfield, Colo., daughter of Francis Milo and Edwina Wallace Smith. She and Don G. Ham were married July 21, 1951, in Holly, Colo. He died May 17, 1971.
Ham received a bachelor of science degree in sociology from West Texas State University in Canyon, and did graduate work in child development at Southeast Missouri State University.
She moved to Cape Girardeau in 1972 from Canyon. She was an extension agent in Bollinger County 10 years, and was employed by Visiting Nurse Association seven years, retiring in 1996. She was a member of Red Star Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, Ernest Ham of Marshall; two daughters, Janice Ham of Cape Girardeau, Anita Seabaugh of Springfield; three sisters, Arvilla Riegal of Lakin, Kan., Lula Cole of Lamar, Colo., Anne Corley of Havana, Ark.; two grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by five brothers.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel from 4-8 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel, with the Rev. Bill Ross officiating. Entombment will be in Memorial Park Mausoleum.
