STE. GENEVIEVE, Mo. -- Donna Ruth Cole, 46, of Ste. Genevieve, formerly of Cape Girardeau, died Saturday, June 11, 2016, at her home.
Donna was born Oct. 10, 1969, in Centreville, Illinois, to the late Leslie and Margie Riley Cole.
She graduated from Marquand-Zion High School in Marquand, Missouri, in 1987. She attended Southeast Missouri State University from 1992 to 1997. She spent her free time volunteering at the Ste. Genevieve Community Center.
Survivors include her son, Dylan (Samantha) Jacobs of Nashville, Tennessee; brother, Dale (Dawn) Raymer Jr. of Sikeston, Missouri; sisters, Lisa Cole of Hot Springs, Arkansas, and Julie Taylor of Cape Girardeau; nephews, Ewan Cole and Max (Jessica) White; nieces, Amie Hanners, Sarah Mahnesmith, Kara Smollen and Hannah Taylor; and mother-in-law, Sandra Slinkard.
She was preceded in death by her parents; paternal and maternal grandparents; and a daughter, Lillie Cole.
A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Piggott, Arkansas, with Joe Cole officiating.
In lieu of flowers, a GoFundMe account has been set up for donations to help cover funeral expenses.
