DONALD TEAGUE

BENTON -- Donald W. Teague, 57, of Benton, died Monday, July 1, 1996, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Dec. 11, 1938, at Bertrand, son of J.W. and Edna Marie Teague.

Teague was a riverboat pilot many years, and was a captain with Luhr Brothers Inc. in Cape Girardeau. He was also a minister. Teague was a member of Local 513 and attended Lively Hope Fellowship in Oran.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Sue; two sons, Terrence Teague of Arnold, Adrian Teague of Morehouse; a daughter, Lynette Scott of Lancaster, Calif.; an adopted son, Marcus Teague of Georgia; two adopted daughters, Marsha Rowe of St. Louis, Crystal Matthew of Benton; six brothers, Billy Teague of Essex, Rocky Teague of Newburg, Rick and Gary Teague of Oran, Jesse Teague of Cape Girardeau, Steve Teague of East Cape Girardeau, Ill.; four sisters, Lois Hampton, Joanie Cole and Sherry Teague of Sikeston, Debbie Fornkohl of Cape Girardeau, and 14 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and sister.

Friends may call at Life Tabernacle Church in Oran from 5-9 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens near Morley.

Teague Funeral Home at Newburg is in charge of arrangements.
