SWINTON, Mo. -- Donald Ray Strauser, 68, of Swinton passed away Wednesday, May 19, 2010, at his home.
He was born Aug. 5, 1941, at Leora, Mo., son of Claud and Lula Livingston Strauser. He and Joyce Young were married Nov. 27, 1997, at Swinton.
Donald had worked for Plumber/Pipefitter Local 562 40 years. He was a member of Bell City Masonic Lodge.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Donna Tidwell of Advance, Sherry (Steve) Limbaugh of Swinton; a stepdaughter, Sabrina Young of Chaffee, Mo.; a stepson, Terry Young of Jackson; three grandchildren, Shelly Hawkins of Advance, Tasha Tidwell of Perryville, Levi Limbaugh of Swinton; three great-grandchildren, Jaden Roper, Chloe Roper and Wyatt Rosenquist.
He was preceded in death by a half brother, Kenneth Livingston.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, with the Rev. Jim Hoyt and Kenny Brightweig officiating. Burial will be in Rockpoint Cemetery.
