Donald Eugene Seabaugh Sr., 80, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, Aug. 24, 2017, at his home.
He was born Aug. 18, 1937, in Cape Girardeau to Virgil Ray and Maggie Ann Ayers Seabaugh.
He and Carolyn Snider were married Aug. 17, 1956, in Cape Giraredeau.
He was meat cutter for Central Foods for 17 years and worked for Pinds Jewelry for 10 years. He retired in 2005 from Wieser Honda after 10 years.
He sang gospel music for 40 years with the Ambassador Quartet. He attended Cornerstone Church and was very active.
Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Seabaugh of Cape Girardeau; son, Donald E. (Monte) Seabaugh Jr. of Lake Winnebago, Missouri; daughter, Gina (Basil) Cox of Jackson; brother, Lonnie W. (Alice) Seabaugh of Casa Grande, Arizona; sister, Linda (John) Morris of Cape Girardeau; two grandchildren, Ben R. Seabaugh and Landon B. Seabaugh; and two step-grandchildren, Torie Eskew and Brennen Cox.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Jim L. Seabaugh.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Christ Church of the Heartland in Cape Girardeau.
Funeral service will be sy 10 a.m. Monday at the church, with the Rev. Zack Strong officiating. Burial will be at Fairmont Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
Memorial contributions may be given to Cornerstone Church, 922 Koch Ave., Cape Girardeau, MO.
