PIEDMONT -- Funeral service for Donald Ray Chilton and his wife, Patricia Lynn Chilton, was held March 4 at Ruegg Funeral Home in Piedmont. Pastor Dave Stogsdill officiated, with burial in Mountain View Cemetery at Des Arc. Military graveside rites were conducted for Donald.

Donald, 45, and Patricia, 37, died Thursday, Feb. 25, 1993, at Palm Desert Resort in Palm Springs, Calif. They were former bank officials, affiliated with First Exchange Banks in Cape Girardeau and Jackson.

He was born Aug. 6, 1947, at Parma, son of Andrew Jackson and Pearl Stevens Chilton. He and Joan E. Collins were married Jan. 24, 1970, at Annapolis, Mo. He and Patricia Lynn Barron Eisenbeis were married in May 1991.

Donald was a member of First Baptist Church in Jackson. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps from March 1970 to June 1972.

He is survived by a son, Christopher Chilton of Jackson; his mother of Des Arc; four brothers, Paul Chilton of St. Louis, Nelson Chilton of Pilot Knob, Ben Chilton of Farmington, Bill Chilton of Sanibel Island, Fla.; five sisters, Ruth Higgins of Des Arc, Norma Toney of Vernal, Utah, Rose Sutton of Piedmont, Betty Kottkamp of St. Louis, and Linda Lewis of Vulcan.

Patricia was born Dec. 10, 1955, at Ste. Genevieve, daughter of Lloyd and Agnes Mary Bleckler Barron. She married Dwight D. Eisenbeis June 15, 1974.

Survivors include a daughter, Wendy Eisenbeis, a son, Nathan Eisenbeis, both of Jackson; her mother of Ste. Genevieve, and a sister, Gail Ottey of Paducah, Ky.
