MARBLE HILL -- Donald Ray Hicks, 57, of Marble Hill, died Tuesday, Sept. 27, 1994, at his home.
He was born June 4, 1937, in Wayne County, son of Ulus and Maude Shepley Haynes.
Hicks was a retired timber worker, and member of Disabled American Veterans. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
Survivors include his wife, Gladys of St. Louis; three sons, Bryan, Donald and Rickey Haynes of St. Louis; a daughter, Jaquelyn Haynes of St. Louis; three brothers, Keith Haynes of Jackson, Eugene "Doc" Haynes of Anna, Ill., Jerry Haynes of St. Peters; four sisters, Mary Falica of Godfrey, Ill., Wanda Durham of Troy, Joyce Fox of Alton, and Betty Demelle of Florissant.
Friends may call at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Gene Robbins officiating. Burial will be in Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery.
