TAMMS, Ill. -- Donald Jordan, 77, of Tamms died Saturday, Sept. 24, 2005, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Dec. 7, 1927, son of Eugene and Eulah Greer Jordan. He and Isabel Lamb were married on May 31, 1947.
Jordan was the owner and operator of Donald Jordan Trucking and Farms. He was a member of the Elco United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Diane Blaney of Tamms; two sisters, Martha Kaufman of Tulsa, Okla. and Sue Mowery of Tamms; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Mary Ann Nelson; a sister, Mildred Pierce and a brother, Dean Jordan.
Friends may call at the Crain Funeral Home in Tamms from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Crossroads United Methodist Church with the Revs. Clint Nale, Rob Grief and Pete Vinson officiating. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery.
