Donald W. Jauch, 62, of Licking died Saturday, Feb. 27, 1999, at Harry S. Truman Veterans Hospital in Columbia. He was born July 30, 1936, in Cape Girardeau, son of Leslie H. and Ruby Leslie Jauch. He was a retired master sergeant for the U.S. Army and had completed several tours of duty in Vietnam. He retired in 1984 after more than 20 years of military service...

Donald W. Jauch, 62, of Licking died Saturday, Feb. 27, 1999, at Harry S. Truman Veterans Hospital in Columbia.

He was born July 30, 1936, in Cape Girardeau, son of Leslie H. and Ruby Leslie Jauch.

He was a retired master sergeant for the U.S. Army and had completed several tours of duty in Vietnam. He retired in 1984 after more than 20 years of military service.

He also was a volunteer at Fort Leonard Wood Hospital.

Survivors include two brothers, Max Jauch of Cape Girardeau and Darrell Jauch of Park Hills; two sisters, June Keller of Cape Girardeau and Mildred "Mimi" Followell of Kalamazoo, Mich.

He was preceded in death by a brother.

Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel.

Graveside service will be at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Fairmont Cemetery, with military rites by VFW Post 3838. The Rev. Jack Leslie will officiate.
