DONALD HOOSIER

SIKESTON, Mo. -- Donald R. Hoosier, 52, of Sikeston died Wednesday, June 6, 2001, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

He was born June 30, 1948, in Stoddard County, Mo., son of Jesse and Jessie Cook Hoosier. He and Connie Scherffius were married April 18, 1970.

Hoosier was a production supervisor 14 years with Bunny Bread.

He served in the U.S. Army.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Brandon Hoosier of the home; a daughter, Amy Thompson of Sikeston; his mother of Advance, Mo.; two sisters, Glenda Mashek of Farmington, Mo., Arvetta Howard of Dexter, Mo.; and a stepgranddaughter.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Friends may call at Ponder Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. Friday.

Funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with Dewayne Coleman officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
