PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Donald F. Hoffman, 75, of Perryville died Saturday, Nov. 9, 2013, at Independence Care Center of Perry County. He was born Dec. 20, 1937, in Perry County, son of Eli F. and Rosella C. Balsman Hoffman. Donald had been a handyman. He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church...

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Donald F. Hoffman, 75, of Perryville died Saturday, Nov. 9, 2013, at Independence Care Center of Perry County.

He was born Dec. 20, 1937, in Perry County, son of Eli F. and Rosella C. Balsman Hoffman.

Donald had been a handyman. He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.

Survivors include a sister, Nancy (Leon) Pohlman of Perryville; and six nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Calvin Hoffman Sr.

Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday and from 6:30 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Young and Sons Funeral Home.

Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, with the Rev. Steve Gallegos officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.

Memorials preferred for family use.
