MARBLE HILL -- Donald Hendershott, 67, of Marble Hill, died Sunday, Oct. 23, 1994, at his home.
He was born Feb. 22, 1927, at Hahn, son of Earlie and Dora Shell Hendershott. He and June Rhodes were married Sept. 19, 1949.
Hendershott retired as a shipping clerk at Florsheim Shoe Co. in Cape Girardeau.
Survivors include his wife; six sons, Ricky Hendershott of Delta, Kelly Hendershott of Oran, Keith, Roger and Randy Hendershott of Advance, Les Hendershott of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Evelyn Birkman of Advance; two brothers, Charlie Hendershott of Senath; Jim Hendershott of Jackson; five sisters, Mabel Dinkins of Grassy, Laura Tallent and Lillian Rouggly of St. Louis, Clara Hemmann of Frohna, Dorothy Payne of Cape Girardeau; 11 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers.
Friends may call at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill from 5-9 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Wayne Kinder officiating. Burial will be in Dan Eaker Cemetery near Marble Hill.
