Donald Leroy Hanebrink, 68, of Cape Girardeau died Wednesday, March 24, 1999, at Beverly Health and Rehab Center.
He was born April 9, 1930, at Egypt Mills, son of William F. and Elda Hoffman Hanebrink. He and Betty L. Schweppe were married March 15, 1952, in Piggott, Ark. She died Sept. 21, 1982.
Hanebrink was a construction worker 15 years, worked at Cauble and Field 13 years, and retired from Cape Manufacturing where he worked 16 years.
Survivors include two sons, Michael and Donald Hanebrink of Cape Girardeau; two daughters, Peggy Kennedy of Randles, Lora Hanebrink of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Cletus Hanebrink of Cape Girardeau; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel from 4-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the chapel, with the Rev. Cy Smith officiating. Burial will be in Lorimier Cemetery.
