SCOPUS -- Donald Earl Estes, 62, of Fenton died Wednesday, Jan. 8, 1997, at Deaconess Central Hospital in St. Louis.
He was born Sept. 19, 1934, at Scopus, son of Lee and Maudie Cook Estes. He and Dorothy Roe were married Nov. 12, 1955.
Estes had worked at Couples Products Co. 38 years.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Donald Estes of Florissant, Dwight Estes of Fenton; a daughter, Virginia Deutsch of Allentown, Pa.; two brothers, Lee Estes of Fenton, Chan Estes of Washington, D.C.; four sisters, Helen Miller and Louella Lanigan of Marble Hill, Mazie Bryant of Chaffee, Beulah Barton of Boss; eight grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by a son, three brothers, three sisters, four half brothers, and three half sisters.
Friends may call at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill after 5 p.m. Saturday.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jimmie Fulbright officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery near Scopus.
