JONESBORO, Ill. -- Donald Lee Clendenen, 49, of Jonesboro died Friday May 16, 1997, in Anna.
He was born Aug. 16, 1947, in Herrin.
Clendenen was a cook in the VA Hospital in Tacoma, Wash., until returning recently to this area. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War.
Survivors include his parents, Dean and Thelma Cain Clendenen of Jonesboro; a brother, Jeff Clendenen of Jonesboro; a sister, Cindy Parr of Janesville, Calif.; and mother, Violet Kelley of Marion.
He was preceded in death by a sister.
Friends may call at Hileman and Parr Funeral Home in Jonesboro from 6-8 p.m. Sunday.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Larry Gilbert officiating. Burial will be in Anna Cemetery.
