JONESBORO, Ill. -- Funeral service for Don Huelson of Jonesboro will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Crain Funeral Chapel in Anna. The Rev. Hurstle Laxton will officiate, with burial in Jonesboro Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 5-9 p.m. today.
Huelson, 77, died Tuesday, Feb. 2, 1993, at his home in Auburndale, Fla.
He was born April 8, 1915, at Jonesboro, son of Herbert Thomas and Gertrude Lee Darrow Huelson. He and Helen Sullivan were married April 8, 1968.
Huelson retired as parts manager at the former Pearl Motor Co. in Anna, and had also been parts manager at Bishop Chevrolet in Cape Girardeau, Mo.
He was a member of Lockard Chapel Baptist Church, Anna Lodge 520 AF&AM, Ainad Shrine Temple, Winter Haven Shrine Club, Scottish Rite Bodies of Illinois and Royal Arch Masons of Illinois. He was a 32nd Degree Mason and Knights Templar Honor Guard.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Bill Huelson of Anna, Lloyd Huelson Jr. of Jonesboro; a sister, Elaine Mansfield of Anna, and a brother, Herbert Huelson of Beaufort, S.C.
