Don Eldon Fadler, 88, of Cape Girardeau passed away Monday, July 16, 2018, at Life Care Center.
He was born July 24, 1929, in Patton, Missouri, son of Charles and Etta Conrad Fadler. He and Clara Mae Welker were united in marriage March 15, 1947, and she passed away June 12, 2007.
Don worked as an over-the-road truck driver for Kimbel and ABF trucking companies and was a past president of the Retired Teamsters.
He was an elder of First Presbyterian Church in Cape Girardeau. He drove for Meals on Wheels for the Cape Senior Center and was "God, Country and Family Strong."
Survivors include his son, Kevin (Nancy) Fadler of Pocahontas; daughter, Donna (Randy) Haman of Kennett, Missouri; grandchildren, Sherry Dutton, Lucas Haman, Trisha Hendershott and Sarah Beth McLean; and great-grandchildren, Collin Haman, Chloe Haman, Addison Dutton, Riley Mae Henderson, Kamryn Henderson, Kellan Hendershott and Konner Hendershott.
Don was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Denzel Fadler; and three sisters, Golda Fadler, Pearl Robinson and Helen Smith.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Friday at Liley Funeral Home in Patton.
Funeral will be conducted at noon Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Randy Shrum officiating. Interment will be in the Patton Cemetery in Patton.
